Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a global provider of technology for electronic payment transactions. Our respected client offers self-service payment device software and web-based gateways to the financial, retail, hospitality, petroleum, government and healthcare industries. Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate for the job of Business Analyst, to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The winning candidate will undertake process analysis, design and documentation and act as lead business analyst when interacting with other parts of business.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, user cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user request from the underlying true needs
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyses information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional Requirements Document, Business Requirements Documents, Screen and User Interface designs
- Utilize your experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers. Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
Job Requirements
- At least 5-8 years’ experience in a Business Analyst or similar role. Those with 10-12 years of experience will be considered for a senior role
- Excellent analytical, research and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts
- Ability to understand business processes and business problems
- Those with work in payment industry is a plus
- Ability to understand data relationship and how data can be used to solve business problems
- Ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements
- Ability to develop a broad awareness of the technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible
- Tertiary qualifications in business, information technology or related discipline essential
- Strong presentation skills and ability to correspondences with corporate office
